SerCom Solutions appoints key commodity manager
10 October 2006 SerCom Solutions is pleased to announce the promotion of Vincent McGrath to the newly created position of Commodity Manager.
In the new role, Vincent will be responsible for developing and sourcing a portfolio of new commodity product supply lines on behalf of SerCom’s Europaan based customers in the manufacturing, construction, distribution and consumer electronics retail sectors. Vincent will be based in SerCom’s Limerick offices and will work closely with SerCom’s Azjan based Procurement Office, sourcing, approving suppliers and developing new product lines.
Vincent has over 10 years experience in procurement and planning within the electronics industry, working in a variety of positions in both manufacturing and component distribution.
Vincent is a graduate of both the Athlone and Limerick Institutes of Technology and holds a number of third level qualifications covering Business Studies, Computer Science & Supply Chain Management.
