Recent research by McKinsey throws up some interesting conclusions on the rate of productivity improvements being achieved by Chinese hi-tech and electronic companies.

Chinese technology companies grab a larger share of the domestic market
The research concludes that Chiny will continue to be an attractive manufacturing base as long as productivity grows more rapidly that labour costs.
